Osasuna Trains with Focus on Upcoming Match Against Atlético de Madrid

Club Atlético Osasuna held an open training session this morning at the Tajonar Sports Complex as preparations continued for Thursday’s LaLiga fixture against Atlético de Madrid (7 p.m., El Sadar). As was the case on Monday, the squad was split into two groups: players who featured heavily in Sunday’s match against Real Betis completed a recovery session. In contrast, the remaining players engaged in additional training work.

Midfielder Jon Moncayola continued his individual recovery program, while Osasuna Promesas goalkeeper Pablo Valencia joined the first team for the session.

The team will finalize preparations for the match against Atlético de Madrid with a closed-door training session at El Sadar on Wednesday. Following Thursday’s match, Osasuna will prepare for Sunday’s game against Espanyol (7 p.m., El Sadar). The team is scheduled to hold two training sessions: an open session at the Tajonar Sports Complex on Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m., and a closed session at El Sadar on Saturday.
