Osasuna re-signs Raúl García through 2030-31 season

The striker and the club remain connected for five seasons

Osasuna has re-signed forward Raúl García through June 30, 2031, the club announced today. The new contract extends the striker’s stay with the club by three seasons and includes a 40 million euro LaLiga EA Sports buyout clause.

Raúl García de Haro (born Nov. 3, 2000, in Olesa de Montserrat, Barcelona) just completed his third season at Osasuna. García, who has become a key player for the club, scored 14 goals this season — seven in LaLiga and seven in the Copa del Rey. He was the top scorer in the Copa del Rey tournament. With 27 goals for Osasuna, García has matched club icons such as Webó and Nino, and surpassed Milosevic, Valdo and Kike Sola, despite competing for playing time with Ante Budimir, the club’s leading scorer in Spain’s top flight.

García, a native of Olesa de Montserrat, moved to Granada at an early age and grew up in Andalucía. He played in the youth ranks for Guadix, Almería and Real Betis, making his professional debut with Betis at 19. He spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Mirandés in the Segunda División, scoring 19 goals and recording eight assists. García joined Osasuna the next year, where he is now set to remain for five more seasons.
