Osasuna Hits Training Pitch Following Win Over Valencia
Los Rojillos will have a day of rest before beginning preparations for Espanyol
Club Atlético Osasuna trained this morning at the Tajonar Sports Complex after yesterday's 1-0 victory over Valencia at El Sadar. As is routine, the day after a match, the team was divided into two groups based on playing time: the starters engaged in regenerative work, while the substitutes focused on compensatory exercises.
Forward Iker Benito participated in partial training with the team as part of his recovery process.
Head coach Alessio Lisci will take a day off tomorrow but is expected back on the training pitch Wednesday morning to start preparations for Sunday’s match against Espanyol at RCDE Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CET (6:30 p.m. BST/1:30 p.m. ET). The team will train behind closed doors at El Sadar on Thursday and will practice at the Tajonar Sports Complex on Friday and Saturday.
