Raúl Moro: 'Osasuna is the right place, I'm very happy to be here'

Forward Raúl Moro addressed the media on Thursday afternoon at his presentation press conference as a new Osasuna player. The new rojillo, who was joined by sporting director Braulio Vázquez, club president Luis Sabalza and the board of directors, said that "I've always gone to places where I wanted to be, where we believed it was the best option to keep growing, and Osasuna was the right place," adding that he is "very happy to be here."

Asked why he chose Osasuna, the Catalan winger pointed to the club's "stability." "The club has been in LaLiga for many years, has been doing things very well for a long time, and I think we can achieve big things this season given how tight LaLiga is," he said. "If we can improve a bit away from home, we can do some really special things this year."

In that regard, he also noted that "Osasuna is a historic club. I think I'm coming to a very good place, and I arrive with the ambition to do well and help the team and the club." "I know how important this club is, I know the supporters it has, the demands that come with being here, and I can't wait to get started," he added.

For his part, Braulio Vázquez assessed the signing of the player, who has agreed a contract through June 2031, and highlighted that "we are delighted because, beyond his sporting level and his age in such a long-term project, he has also been a long-standing personal target."

"We are very happy that he chose us because it's not only about the present — which he clearly already has — but also about having such a young player with his qualities," Vázquez said.
