Osasuna completes new training session ahead of Levante match
Defender Rockson Yeboah has joined the team
Club Atlético Osasuna trained Friday morning at the Tajonar Sports Complex as the team prepares for its season opener against Levante on Monday, Aug. 24, at El Sadar. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CET (6:30 p.m. BST, 1:30 p.m. ET). The session consisted of tactical drills and set pieces.
The main news from the session was the arrival of defender Rockson Yeboah, who joined Osasuna’s squad for the first time. The Ghanaian defender met his new teammates and trained individually at Tajonar under the supervision of the coaching staff. Meanwhile, defender Valentin Rosier continued his recovery from a right hamstring injury.
The team will hold another open training session at Tajonar on Saturday at 10 a.m., though players are expected to take the field half an hour later. On Sunday, head coach Luis Miguel Ramis will finalize preparations for the LaLiga opener with a closed session at El Sadar, followed by his pre-match press conference.
