Osasuna Signs Defender Rockson Yeboah From IFK Göteborg

The club paid a 3-million-euro fee to sign the center back for five seasons, and the contract includes a 30-million-euro buyout clause.

Club Atlético Osasuna and I.F.K. Göteborg have reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Rockson Yeboah, the club announced today. Los Rojillos will pay 3 million euros for the center back, while the Swedish club retains 30% of any surplus from a future sale. The Ghanaian player has signed a five-year deal with a 30-million-euro buyout clause.

Rockson Yeboah, born Aug. 2, 2004, in Berekum, Ghana, is a center back known for his speed—reaching up to 34.96 km/h—height (6-foot-2), and aerial ability. Last season, he won 74.7% of defensive duels and 77.4% of aerial duels with Göteborg. Yeboah made 44 appearances with the Swedish first team and scored two goals.

Yeboah is expected to arrive in Pamplona in the coming hours to join the team under head coach Luis Miguel Ramis. Details of his official presentation will be announced later.
