Alessio Lisci: “The team made a big effort, but we’re still not winning away from home, and that has to change”

The homegrown player and the club extend their relationship through June 2029
Club Atlético Osasuna has re-signed midfielder Asier Osambela, the club announced today. The new deal links the homegrown player with the club through June 30, 2029, and includes a €15 million LaLiga EA Sports buyout clause. Osambela and sporting director Braulio Vázquez will address the media tomorrow at 1 p.m.
Asier Osambela Larraya (born Oct. 30, 2004, in Subiza, Navarre) joined the Osasuna Academy, Tajonar, at age 10 after playing for Bidezarra and Ardoi. He progressed through the club’s youth ranks from U-10 to Promesas before joining the first team this season.
This year, he has appeared in three matches under head coach Alessio Lisci, along with three others for the Promesas side to continue gaining minutes and developing his game. The young midfielder scored for the affiliate team in its most recent match against Racing de Ferrol and netted the game-winner in the Euskal Herria Txapela – Copa de la Euroregión against Athletic Club.
