Osasuna Promesas Signs Anton Efremov

The Navarrese side has reached a deal with Villarreal Club de Fútbol for the transfer of the Russian center back

Club Atlético Osasuna has signed defender Anton Efremov from Villarreal Club de Fútbol, who will join the club’s affiliate team, Osasuna Promesas. The 20-year-old Russian center back has signed a one-year contract with an option for two additional years. He will be part of the team coached by Santi Castillejo.

Anton Artyomovich Efremov, born June 11, 2003, in Nizhni Nóvgorod, Russia, joined Villarreal’s youth system following a standout performance as captain of the U-18 Russian national team. Prior to his transfer to Osasuna, he spent last season on loan at Sestao River, where he made 32 appearances in Primera Federación.
