Alessio Lisci: "The fans were crucial for today's win"

Osasuna head coach Vicente Moreno addressed the media ahead of tomorrow's Copa del Rey round of 16 match against Athletic Club. "It's a great game and a great matchup. We have to do everything in our power to get through," the Rojillo highlighted. "I am convinced we can, but the challenge is facing a fantastic team fighting for a Champions League spot, the current Champion. So, we have to see it as a possibility that when you win these types of games, it has a ton of value. So, we have to hold on to hope."
In that regard, the coach pointed out, "We would have loved to host the game at El Sadar because I think it becomes even more important to everyone, and it helps your chances of getting through—at home, we are strong—but it is a great team, and to be a part of a game like that must be excellent. Plus, I know that 3,000 signed up for a draw, and only 600 will be there; it's people who believe in us for that game; we also have to think in that game, and our goal is to get through, but with football, you never know. Right now, I am hopeful because it is a game that excites me, and my players are excited, too."
Lastly, Moreno added, "Tomorrow, we are playing in a final. Win or go home; there is no more to it. We will do our best to be in more rounds. It almost feels like people see this as the game of the year. I would like to have more of these games a year, and we have to move on to have that possibility."
