The homegrown player underwent surgery at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra
Forward Iker Benito underwent surgery today at Clínica Universidad de Navarra to repair an injury to his right knee. The procedure included reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscal repair. The operation, performed by Dr. Andrés Valentí and his team from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, was completed without complications. Benito is expected to be discharged in the coming hours, depending on his recovery, and will soon begin his rehabilitation process.
