Homegrown player suffers right ACL rupture
Forward Iker Benito underwent medical testing today at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra after sustaining an injury in last night’s Copa del Rey match against Sant Jordi. Tests confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The homegrown forward is scheduled to undergo surgery next week and will begin his recovery process thereafter.
