Alessio Lisci: "I'm happy because the team made El Sadar rumble with their performance"

Osasuna head coach Alessio Lisci addressed the media after the team's 1-0 victory over Valencia in his first match at El Sadar.

"I'm happy because the team made El Sadar rumble with their performance," Lisci said. "There are 10 minutes in which we need to improve, but we can't let those minutes erase 80 amazing minutes."

Lisci emphasized the importance of the victory: "It's significant because it reinforces our work. How we feel matters, but winning allows us to demonstrate the difference and take a step forward. I mentioned after the match against Madrid that the score is the most crucial factor. For 80 minutes today, we played well, even when facing 10 or 11 players. When you fail to score a second goal, you're always up against a good opponent and a coach who will complicate things. We suffered in the last 10 minutes, which is normal."

He also praised Osasuna's loyal fan base, saying, "Today they showed their support, as they always do. They pushed us and helped us through. In that final stretch, we weren't playing as well as they deserved, but their support was vital. That union is key."
