Osasuna, Kuwait Technical College, ktech, extend partnership through 2029 with agreement signed before Al-Ain friendly

Club Atlético Osasuna and Kuwait Technical College, known as ktech, on Saturday formalized an extension of their strategic partnership during an event held in conjunction with the club’s preseason friendly against Al-Ain at El Sadar Stadium.

Osasuna President Luis Sabalza met with Meshari Boodai, chairman of the board of Trustees of Kuwait Technical College (ktech), a private college in Kuwait, to sign an agreement that will keep the two organizations linked through June 2029.

Sabalza welcomed the extension of a collaboration he described as important to the club’s international growth.

“Renewing this alliance is already great news in itself,” Sabalza said. “Extending it through 2029 demonstrates the confidence ktech has in Osasuna and in the way we work. Through our foundation and everything Osasuna represents; we have spent many years educating and supporting young people through common values. The fact that a Kuwaiti private college shares that vision and wants to move forward with us is a source of pride.”

He added that having international sponsors provides an important boost as the club continues to bring Osasuna’s identity to new parts of the world.

ktech and Prolife branding on team apparel

Under the new agreement, ktech branding will appear on the back of Osasuna’s official match jerseys as well as on the club’s training shirts and shorts. Prolife, the healthy snack brand operated by the same group, will also appear on the sleeve of the club’s training jerseys.

The “Aupa Ya Kuwait” project

A central element of the partnership is the strengthening of cooperation among Osasuna, ktech and Kuwait’s Public Authority for Sport through the “Aupa Ya Kuwait” project, an initiative designed to promote the development of young Kuwaitis through sports and academic training.

In this program, Osasuna and ktech work in tandem to deliver training aligned with Osasuna’s methodology. The project kicked off in December 2025 with 120 young Kuwaiti athletes attending the ktech campus to work under Tajonar coaches, Osasuna’s academy.

Following that initial phase, the top 25 participants traveled to Navarre to train at Osasuna’s facilities and play two matches against teams from the club’s youth system.

Earlier this month, Tajonar also hosted 16 Kuwaiti players for a 10-day training camp as part of the same development program.

United commitment to education and sport

During his visit, Boodai pointed out the importance of continuing the partnership with the Navarrese entity, one he considers a forerunner in both sport and education.

“It is our great pleasure to be part of this partnership with one of the best teams in Spain and Europe, and to be part of this historical team,” Boodai said. “We are exporting a lot of experience from Osasuna to our region for our students and our youth in Kuwait. We are happy to extend this agreement for another three years.”

With the renewal, Osasuna strengthens its commitment to a model in which education and sport remain central to the development of young people. At the same time, the club continues to project its training methodology and values beyond Spain’s borders in partnership with one of the Gulf region’s most distinguished educational institutions.
