Official Statement on the Assumption of Office by the Board of Directors
Following a meeting with Martín Corera Izu, he has resigned from his position on the Board of Directors. Manuel Piquer Martín-Portugués will replace him.
Today, the Board of Directors of Club Atlético Osasuna officially took office at El Sadar Stadium, following the proclamation made yesterday by the Electoral Board. Luis Sabalza's term as president begins today and will run through Aug. 21, 2029.
During the meeting, board member Martín Corera Izu submitted his resignation, which was accepted by Sabalza. Piquer, who previously served on the Board of Directors from 2021 to 2025, has agreed to rejoin the board temporarily until a new director is appointed to fill Corera's position permanently.
The new Board of Directors now consists of Luis Sabalza as president, along with Manuel Piquer, César Muniain, Josetxo Pérez de Zabalza, and José Andrés Burguete as directors.
