Osasuna Returns to Training Following Victory Over Espanyol

The team will train tomorrow at the Tajonar Sports Complex at 10:45 a.m.

Club Atlético Osasuna held an open training session this morning at the Tajonar Sports Complex. It was the team’s first session following Sunday’s 2–0 win over Espanyol at El Sadar. As is customary after a match, the squad was divided based on the minutes played. Players with more game time completed recovery work, while the rest carried out compensatory exercises.

Forward Jose Arnaiz was unable to train with the group due to a fever. Meanwhile, midfielder Kike Barja did not participate after medical tests conducted at Clínica Universidad de Navarra confirmed a muscle injury in his right adductor. Osasuna Promesas goalkeeper Pablo Valencia completed the session with the first team.

Vicente Moreno’s side will continue preparations for the final match of the season—against Alavés on Saturday, May 24, at 9 p.m. at Mendizorroza—with three more training sessions. Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 21, the team will train in an open session in Tajonar starting at 10:45 a.m. On Thursday, the squad will hold a closed-door session at El Sadar. The final training of the week will take place on Friday, in an open-to-the-public session at Tajonar, starting at 10:30 a.m.
