"The team is eager to make it happen and we want to give our fans that joy," goalkeeper Sergio Herrera
Osasuna goalkeeper Sergio Herrera addressed the media in a press conference ahead of the league match against Real Madrid. "We know it's going to be very difficult because they are one of the best teams in LaLiga, and we have to be at our best to get a victory," the goalkeeper said. He added, "The team is eager to make it happen. Since we returned to the top tier, we haven't managed to beat them, and we want to give our fans that joy."
When asked about the team's form leading to Saturday's match, Herrera highlighted their recent performance in Mallorca. "We're in good shape. I think the team is doing well. The other day, we earned a point in Mallorca, and we left with good feelings because we put in a strong performance. Everyone wants to win, but if you can't win, at least showing a good image and feeling superior to Mallorca sometimes gives you confidence."
Herrera also emphasized the importance of home support at El Sadar, believing it could be crucial in securing a positive result. "El Sadar gives us that extra push to be at 200%, and we must stay focused and avoid giving anything away. We know they won't forgive you if you make mistakes against teams like this. That's what the game will be about—trying not to make errors and being clinical when we get our chances."
