Osasuna signs defender Boyomo
The 22-year-old defender will join Los Rojillos for five seasons
Club Atlético Osasuna agreed with Real Valladolid on transferring defender Enzo Boyomo. The Rojillo entity will pay a 5,000,000€ fee for the complete transfer; an additional 500,000€ will be paid when the defender reaches 60 games with Osasuna in LaLiga EA Sports. Also, the team from Pucela will conserve 10% of the player rights in case of a sale. Boyomo joins the club for five seasons, and there is a 25,000,000€ buyout clause in the top tier of Spanish football. The Cameroonian will be presented in the upcoming days.
Flavio Enzo Thiedort Boyomo is a French-Camerronian who, at 22 years old, places himself as a rising star. His strength and speed are some of his primary tools, which allow him to defend on an open field and in duels. The player began his career in his hometown with Toulouse F.C. and joined the Blackburn Rovers at a young age. In 2020, he moved to Albacete Balompié, with whom he became a starter in Primera Federación and LaLiga Hypermotion. A year ago, he joined Real Valladolid, where he became one of the best center-backs in Segunda and, despite his youth, one of the key players to help the Pucela side reach the promotion.
Boyomo comes to Osasuna as the club's present and future. He joins a rejuvenated backline that also includes Jorge Herrando, Abel Bretones, Jesús Areso, Nacho Vidal, Alejandro Catena, Juan Cruz, Unai García, and Rubén Peña.
