Club Atlético Osasuna has reached an agreement with Real Oviedo for the transfer of Abel Bretones. The entity will pay 2,800,000 euros for the transfer of all the rights of the player, who has signed a contract with the club for the next five seasons. The agreement also includes a friendly match between the two clubs. The player will have a release clause of 20,000,000 euros in LaLiga EASports and will be presented upon his incorporation to the team's preseason. 

Abel Bretones Cruz (August 21, 2000; La Felguera, Asturias) is a left back with a strong offensive projection, whose physical power and left foot are two of his most important skills. The player joins Osasuna after completing a great season with Real Oviedo, with whom he has been at the gates of promotion to LaLiga EASports after reaching the playoff final. This last season he has played 44 games between LaLiga Hypermotion and the Copa del Rey. Before joining Real Oviedo, he had played for Alcázar C. F. and U. P. Langreo, a team with which he reached the Segunda B at the age of eighteen. 

After becoming one of the most valued players in his position on the national scene, he has decided to opt for Osasuna's sporting project with the aim of succeeding at El Sadar and helping the team to achieve its objectives.
