Pamplona (Monday, March 18, 2024) – Club Atlético Osasuna re-signed midfielder Mauro Echegoyen through the 2026 season, the club announced today. The extension includes a two-year option and a 5,000,000-euro buyout clause, which will reach 12,000,000 euros when the young player joins the first team in LaLiga EA Sports.

Echegoyen, 19, arrived in Tajonar as a U12 player from Club Deportivo Murchante. Climbing his way through the ranks, the Murchante native joined the Promesas side straight from the U17s, where he competes in the third tier of Spanish football. He has played 20 games under head coach Santi Castillejo for Osasuna's Affiliate this season. His performances have earned him a spot in the Spanish U19 national team.
