Pamplona (Thursday, August 24, 2023) – Head coach Jagoba Arrasate addressed the media after his team fell 2-1 against Club Brugge in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League. "We have to take notes, recover quickly, play on Sunday – because this doesn't stop- and then go there on Thursday with our fans. We have never given up and won't start now," the rojillo gaffer said.

The Berriatua native added, "We have to get better. In both of their goals, we had numbers to stop them, and we didn't. We made mistakes and paid them." "Thankfully, we can reverse it because this is not over; we still have 90 minutes next Thursday. We have to step it up. Continue to create chances, play up front, and score goals. We also need to be more solid, and we haven't been in the last few games."

Arrasate said about Club Brugge, "They are an experienced team in European competitions, and they know how to manage the ball and set the rhythm, plus they know how to defend. They have international players, good players. We would have seen another game if we could have kept the 1-1. We'll see what they do with the advantage and what we can do."
