Pamplona (Sunday, August 17, 2023) – Osasuna Femenino fell 1-0 against C.E. Europa at home on Sunday morning. An early goal in the second half by forward María González gave the visiting side the win.

Osasuna Femenino started the game with two dangerous occasions in the first 20 minutes. In the seventh minute, forward Yiyi tried with a good shot after collecting a pass forward Carmen. Later, forward Elena Valej tried from inside the box, but her shot failed to find the target. Despite las rojillas effort to open the score, they couldn’t find the back of the net before the end of the half.

As the teams returned for the second half, González scored for C.E. Europe within the first minute of play. After conceding the goal, the home side tried to find the equalizer by pressing the opposition. In the 53rd minute, defender Merche Izal almost finds the back of the net from the corner. As the game ended, midfielder Miriam Rivas struck the woodwork with a cross, and forward Alexia Jr. tried with a wide shot.

Las rojillas will be back in Tajonar on October 1 when they face Alhama.
