Tenerife (Wednesday, August 13, 2023) – Osasuna Femenino defeated C.D. Fundación Tenerife 3-0 at Ciudad Deportiva de Geneto on Wednesday evening. Forwards Ari Sánchez, Carmen, and Alexia Jr. propelled the team to the second round of la Copa de la Reina.

Osasuna Femenino started the game dominating and quickly had the first chance to open the scoring. Forward Iara finished a cross from the left flank, but her shot went wide. Before reaching the halfway point of the first half, the rojilla striker had another good chance in her boots, but her strong right-footed shot grazed the post and went wide. Minutes later, Sánchez had a shot on the turn, and in the 38th minute, Carmen's shot from the edge of the area hit the crossbar. Sánchez opened the scoring minutes before the end of the first half when she controlled a long ball and finished subtly. A few moments later, Carmen extended the lead when she controlled a pass from midfielder Vanessa inside the box and beat the rival goalkeeper.

In the second half, las rojillas continued to look to widen the gap and dominated possession, controlling the match.
