A very serious Osasuna managed to win at the Ciutat de Valencia and thus chain its second consecutive victory, the third in the last four matches. Jagoba Arrasate's team, scored three very important points thanks to a great goal by Budimir in the 74th minute. Moments later, Levante was eleven meters away from an equalizer, but S. Herrera disguised himself as a giant to palm away A. J. Morales' penalty kick and keep the home side's score at zero with ten minutes to go. The locals tried in the last moments, but the Navarrese left their souls to take a giant step towards the achievement of the goal.

Osasuna and Levante faced each other in a match with few goal chances and local domination, although S. Herrera only had to play in two actions in the first half. After twenty minutes, Malsa headed a cross and the player from Miranda de Ebro stretched to palm the ball away for a corner. In the same action, O. Duarte finished off a headed ball at the near post, but the defender's shot was met by S. Herrera, who repelled it with his feet after a good reflex action. After those two local chances, neither team was able to generate dangerous chances and both S. Herrera and Aitor hardly had to intervene.

After passing through the dressing rooms, Osasuna came out with a bit more offensive and, as a result of the attacking presence of Jagoba Arrasate's men, the first clear opportunity arrived. Iñigo Pérez had in his boots the 0-1 after a ball extended by Torró and Rubén García, but the midfielder's shot from inside the area went over the crossbar. After that chance, the match again went through a stretch in which Levante dominated possession, but in which neither team generated danger.

Budimir scored and S. Herrera saved a penalty.

Both coaches moved the bench and, with fifteen minutes to go, everything changed. Rubén García pulled a back-heel pass to overcome the pressure in midfield and assist Torró; the all-rounder put the ball on the run to Kike Barja who looked up and executed a millimetric cross for the run of Budimir that unleashed the happiness of all the rojillos. The Croatian showed a subtle and accurate left-footed shot against Aitor, who could do nothing, putting the 0-1 on the scoreboard.

With less than fifteen minutes to go, Osasuna was ahead on the scoreboard. However, five minutes later, everything could have changed. The referee decreed a penalty in the red area that A. J. Morales was in charge of executing. The timer showed the 79th minute and it was then when S. Herrera appeared. The player from Miranda de Ebro guessed the intentions of the captain and became a giant to palm the ball away from the goal and keep the 0-1 on the scoreboard.

After the penalty saved by S. Herrera, Levante turned to attack in search of an equalizer that did not come because the Valencians came up against a team that emptied itself to retain the distance and return to Navarra with three more points in the table. In this way, Osasuna adds twenty-five points and is placed in the twelfth position. With this victory, Jagoba Arrasate's men have now won two consecutive matches and three in the last four games. The next league match will take place on Monday, February 22 at 21:00 against Sevilla at El Sadar.
