Rubén Iván Martínez Andrade (22 June 1984; Coristanco; A Coruña) is an experienced goalkeeper, 187 centimetres tall, who arrived at Osasuna in the summer of 2018. He had played the last eight seasons in the First Division. Trained in the quarry of the Orillamar Sociedad Deportiva, he soon aroused the interest of Fútbol Club Barcelona. He played five seasons in the academy team of the blaugrana entity and got to play three games with the first team with only twenty years old; at the same time he jumped from category to category in the Spanish national team, with which he reached the Under-21. After its passage by the Catalan club, he was signed by the Racing de Ferrol in the Second Division, where he didn't have minutes. He had to leave to the Fútbol Club Cartagena, in the bronze cathegory, to take off as goalkeeper. He always played in the starting line-up and contributed to the promotion to the silver division. A year later, he played an important role in the fifth position of the Murcian team, which led Málaga Club de Fútbol to sign him through an important transfer.

After being a substitute for two years in an Andalusian team that was living the best moments of its history, he went to Paco Jémez's Rayo Vallecano, where he achieved two comfortable permanences as a regular player. After that, he continued in the maximum category in the Unión Deportiva Almería first, and in the Levante Unión Deportiva later. In the summer of 2016, he signed for his home team, Real Club Deportivo de la Coruña, although he went on loan to R.S.C. Anderlecht in the following winter. After completing a prominent role in the Belgian team, he returned to Dépor, where he played one last season before joining Osasuna.
