Darko

Darko Brasanac (12 February 1992; Cajetina, Serbia) is a midfielder who joined Osasuna from Real Betis Balompié in the summer of 2019. The Serbian was trained at Partizan Belgrade, where he spent much of his playing career before moving to Spain. With Betis he participated in 25 matches in the league and one in the cup in his first season. In the 2017/18 season he was loaned to Leganés, participating in 23 league games and 5 cup games. In the 2018/19 season he was loaned again, this time to Deportivo Alavés, where he had a great season, playing 24 matches in the league and 2 in the cup.

In addition, Darko has been international at youth levels with the Serbian national team until reaching his debut with the first national team. Throughout his career he has played in almost every midfield position. He usually plays in the double pivot or in more offensive positions, standing out for his versatility, ball recovery, distribution, and sacrifice.
