Adrián López

Adrián López Álvarez (8 January 1988; San Martín de Teverga, Asturias) is a player who can play both on the left wing and in the centre-forward position. He stands out for his technical level, vision of the game and ability to associate, as well as his ability to finish moves. He arrived at Osasuna in the summer of 2019 from F. C. Porto.

Formed in Real Oviedo, with only 17 years old he was signed by R. C. Deportivo de La Coruña, team which loaned him to Deportivo Alavés and Málaga C. F. to complete his training. However, the player stood out very young and Atlético de Madrid set its eyes on him. They took over his services in 2011, the year in which he was Golden Shoe of the U-21 European Championship, and remained in Madrid until 2014. During that period Adrian Lopez won a League, a Europa League, a European Super Cup and a King's Cup.

F.C. Porto paid 11 million euros to take over his services, but the player hardly had any opportunities and during that time he was tranfered twice, one to Villarreal C.F. (2015-2017) and another to Deportivo (2017-2018). The Asturian, international with the Spanish National team, did not find his place in the Portuguese team although in his last campaign there he intervened in four matches of the Champions League scoring a decisive goal against Roma in the round of sixteen.
