On the occasion of the club's centenary, Club Atlético Osasuna unveils its new exclusive typography (letter and number design), created by the Pamplona-based studio Ashler Design. It is a typeface designed exclusively for the rojillo club which, from now on, will bear the name Osasuna Font. The change of font will not affect the club's crest, which will remain the same as before.

Ashler Design has been inspired by different elements of Navarre to link the typography to the culture and history of the region, the land where Club Atlético Osasuna has had its roots since 1920. In this way, the rojillo club aims to update its image and do so with coherence and respect for its origins, highlighting its own identity.

It is the first time in its centenary history that the club will have its own typography after having used different commercial fonts available to any user in recent years.

The new exclusive typography will be used from now on in the club's logo, as well as in the graphic line for the 2021-2022 season, which also debuts today for social networks. It will also be present in different communication campaigns carried out by the club and will have its own version to be used on the official shirts next season when the regulations allow it (friendlies or Copa del Rey, for example). It will not be used in LaLiga matches. Likewise, all the signage at the reformed El Sadar stadium has already been made with the new letters and numbers designed for Osasuna by Ashler Design.

Ashler is a design studio specialising in branding, digital design and development and typography. Founded by Elena Ramírez and Octavio Pardo, they work from Pamplona for clients with all kinds of profiles in all corners of the world, including large companies such as Google, Porcelanosa or Philip Morris, or local clients such as Panes L'Atelier. The link between them all is a passion for detail and good design. Their work has been recognised by the Type Directors Club of New York, the Laus Awards and Communication Arts magazine. Octavio Pardo, the project manager, is currently completing a PhD in legibility and typography for the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen. He has been a consultant for Google fonts and has taught typography courses at the MIT Media Lab, La Salle School of Design in Singapore, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, among others.
